Apparently, Samsung has decided to kill two birds with one stone – remove the Developer Options facility from the Samsung Galaxy S and add a USB debugging mode to the device. Now, we’ll have to decide for ourselves if this is a good thing or a bad thing. In other words, does it make things easier for developers, or do we need this functionality?
Basically, the Developer Options, which are accessible through Samsung’s USB debugging port, and the built-in debugging facilities offered by the Galaxy S, are meant to be utilized, and accessed by Android developers only. The USB debugging enables Android devices to communicate with external USB debuggers, which allow them to create, debug, and debug new apps. With this function enabled on the Samsung Galaxy S, anyone who uses any of the different software development tools – forking, binary modification, ROM hacking, device isolation, or space partitioning – will have access to a variety of different diagnostic tools. As a result, they will be able to receive better performance from their mobile devices.

Fortunately, developers now have the ability to debug each individual application individually. In the past, a developer would have to connect the device to a computer, run the executable, attach a USB, select a driver, select an application, select a debugger, select the settings, then wait for the process to complete. That process repeated itself thousands of times in a day. The good news is that developers have the ability to debug one specific application without going to all of this trouble. It’s much easier to replicate the process with one of the many Samsung developer options available.
Of course, before you can do this, you have to make sure that the Samsung developer tools are working with your phone. This can be done easily by going into your Samsung developer options and checking which processes are already enabled. Then, you will just need to select the services you want debugged. These services include Telekinesis, SMS Service, Data Transfer Services, Internet and Email. You will also have to enable the different services one at a time so that each one gets debugged as well.
Once these are enabled, you will be able to use Samsung developer options to make any number of tweaks and changes to your software or program. This means that instead of having to rely on a computer, you can debug the software on the Samsung device instead. The best part is that these apps are designed specifically for the touch screen and the Samsung applications platform. No other mobile device will have the same level of access and power when it comes to making changes to applications and files.
